FYI I am no longer a paying member.

am new to online dating, so I am learning my way around. I’m used to pre-Internet dating so if I ask to call you or take you out and you would prefer to just text for a while let me know. Starting slow is fine with me.

After nearly 30 years of marriage, I am now a widower. I lost my wife in 2020 after a long fight with cancer. Through thick and thin, good times and bad, we loved each other through it all and had a great marriage.
I’m always happy to make a new friend so feel free to say ‘hi’ (loneliness is a side effect of this ‘gift’ we’ve been given). I would like to find a local dance partner (for dancing about twice a month, really). If you’re interested, let me know (dancing with non-HSV ladies leads to ‘the talk’). I’m not looking for a LTR though if there is no potential for marriage. I know what I am looking for in a wife. If you think we might have a future together, let’s talk. I would be very happy to be in an exclusive relationship. I want to fall in love and be a husband again. Being more than 200 miles apart would be too far for a real romance unless you’re able to travel regularly.
I am romantic and affectionate. You can expect that I will always be a gentleman and always treat you like a lady. I'm looking for a wife who wants to be courted and appreciates an old fashioned man. You won’t have to tell me to take charge. With me, chivalry is not dead. This does not mean that I don't respect, want or appreciate a strong and accomplished woman, I do. I want a wife who is proud of her own achievements. I’ve worked hard my whole life and am proud of all that I have accomplished. I am financially stable & comfortable.
I like to have fun, and I want to find a wife that I can have fun with. Some of the things I enjoy are: the outdoors, sitting by an open fire, relaxing in my hot tub, lunch dates, date nights, movies, road trips, dancing (Even dancing under the stars. Did I mention that I am romantic?), quiet evenings at home, walks at sunset holding hands, star gazing under a blanket, and gathering with friends and family. This is a partial list. If I didn’t list something you enjoy, I am open to suggestions. I believe a husband should never stop dating his wife.
